I JUST MET KORN.

Hello friends. I am in total and utter shock at what just transpired at Hampton Beach tonight. I just met all four members of Korn without even having tickets to the show.

Photos are in a separate post, as well as the video.

Let me tell you the story of how my life was made complete…

We drove down to Hampton Beach around 4 and arrived at 5. We went to the Hampton Beach Casino and immediately I saw the three big black Korn tour buses parked out back. I started screaming and so my dad found a parking lot right next to the casino. I started shaking with nervousness and ran over there. There weren’t many people there; maybe around 20 or 30, just hanging out. They had korn shirts on. Most people were in front waiting in line because admission started at 6. This guy came up to me and asked how long I’d been a fan, etc. He told me Fieldy had been walking around earlier. My brain started freaking out when suddenly my mom pulled me over and said “Isn’t that Munky over there??” I turned and coming out of a tour bus was James the Gorrilla himself. I was so in shock I just took out my camera and got two photos of his back. Then Fieldy came out of the venue and I was dying at that point. He started signing stuff and I made my way in to the front and asked him to sign the TALITM Skrapbook I decided to bring at the last minute. He did, and then my mom shoved me next to him for a picture. Yes, he was being Mr. Grumpy-pants and didn’t smile or even say anything to me besides “Alright man” but I honestly didn’t care. I could tell he just woke up, he had some coffee in his hand. He went into his tour bus and disappeared. That was it for 15 minutes. I walked around and looked at all the people starting to arrive. My god, I hate to say it but these were all skanky gross people. Every single person was smoking and most looked like they slept on the street that night. I met like two nice people (but that was later.) Then suddenly from the tour bus behind me JONATHAN DAVIS STEPS OUT.He was gone so fast my dad only got two photos of him. According to my parents when someone talked to him he replied ” I’ve got a show to do.” They rushed him into the venue and I was left flabbergasted. He had been in the bus next to me the entire time!!!! So then I was left wondering if that was all I’d see of him. After a bit Munky came out again and I was able to get him to sign my skrapbook and after chasing him a little I got an amazing photo. The first time he signed my packet he used my pen which didn’t come out at all. Then I found someone with a sharpie and he actually signed it again for me!!! I was really really surprised at the lack of security. They all were just walking out in the parking lot with no staff or bodyguards or anything. I guess since it was just such a small venue they figured there wasn’t going to be that much going on. Well, they were right because once they started letting people in at 6 the crowd was gone and it was practically just me outside. There was however a good 30 people in the outside smoking section. They didn’t seem to care that they could go in. I did see all the VIPs entering though. So, then Fieldy comes back out and I get more photos. He went in and out like 3 or 4 times total. I also saw Zac “Horse” Baird looking like he just woke up coming out of the venue with bananas in his hand. No one even recognized him but me. Then suddenly Jonathan comes back out of the venue with his laptop in his hand and goes back into the tour bus. It happened so fast all I know is that I got a closeup photo of his face. Which was amazing seeing that he kept his head down the entire time. I was reeling after that and I’d say a good hour went by before anything else happened. My dad was getting impatient and wanted to leave. He was like “They’re all done, no one else is coming out.” But I knew better- I hadn’t yet seen Ray and both JD and Munky were still in their buses. I was really holding out for JD. All there was separating me and that bus was one metal gate that I could have easily jumped or really just moved out of the way. There was no one around except the smokers who actually didn’t even notice JD coming out of the building. So diligently I waited for at least half an hour with my camera set to movie mode, pointed at the tour bus door. I started talking to a lady who was there with her nephew, they didn’t have tickets either but she was a big fan. I told her Jon was in the tour bus and she freaked out and got her cell phone ready. Then out of the blue the door opens and I start filming. Guess who comes out? J DEVIL!!!! Doing that bouncy walk of his with that evil smile on his face he briskly climbs the stairs and goes inside. It was a complete turnaround from the JD who held his head low earlier. J Devil really is a different persona for him. I freaked out because I was the only one who captured that moment; the other lady didn’t catch it. I filmed it all. I turned to the smoker crowd to see they had not even seen J Devil. That really angered me. The entire time they either didn’t care or didn’t even recognize the singer of the band they bought tickets to go see. A few minutes later I heard bass kick in inside and I heard J Devil yelling to the crowd to get up and the show had begun. It was 8 pm. I thought I was done then Ray came outside and flashed me a peace sign before going into Jon’s tour bus. He came out a few minutes later with a pair of boots and me and that woman’s nephew both approached him for autographs. I didn’t ask for a photo because it looked like he was in a rush. But he did sign my skrapbook and I was very happy. I could hear the thumping of J Devil’s beats and was determined to wait until Munky came back out of his tour bus. Well, I waited half an hour and he didn’t. Whatever he was doing in there he was taking his sweet time. We finally had to leave. I was yelling to the casino “Jonathan please don’t let them take me away!!!” as my parents dragged me to the car. As we walked away you could hear Jonathan’s voice echoing. It carried really far, all the way to the beach. To the heavens.

So that’s what happened tonight. I am still in disbelief. It didn’t feel like 4 hours we were there. I’m going to post the photos and the video of J Devil separately right after I post this. I didn’t need the show. All those people waiting in line, and even those who got there after me, didn’t get anything signed or even see any of the band members. This was priceless and it didn’t cost me a penny. I got 4/4 when I was hoping for even one. I’m going to scan my signed skrapbook hopefully tomorrow. Hopefully this is just the beginning of many Korn experiences to come ;)
